Hotterdog Fleeces
Brand new this year, and we are delighted to be able to add it to the site. These coats are designed with the comfort of your dog first and foremost. A completely new idea, coming from the equestrian world, these are superb. I could see that they were very warm and comfortable but was amazed to see our dogs actually going over to theirs, asking for them to be put on. I've seen them get excited about coats being put on before a walk, but never asking for coat in the house. The fleece fabric is water-repellent, warm and cosy. Perfect for a whole range of uses, from general weather protection, winter warmth for fine-coated or elderly dogs, through to drying off wet dogs, rest and recovery for working dogs and post-operative warmth and protection. The fleece is waterproof, machine-washable and can be tumble dried, retaining its colour and shape. On a wet dog it wicks away the moisture, preventing chills. It is very stretchy, so can accommodate all kinds of body shapes. It is, at last, an answer to the search by so many for a coat that is functional, smart and extremely wearable. It's stretchy qualities means that it will fit all shapes and sizes; the coat is shaped up into the loin, and with a small tuck taken in it will a be perfect fit for hounds. Check the sizing chart at the foot of the page to get the best possible fit. Measurements are taken in the usual way. From the collar to the base of the tail, the neck where the collar fits, and the deepest part of the chest.
