These soft toys come with a squeaker, which is replaceable, and are fairly durable - not indestructible, but certainly well able to withstand normal play. Puppies and older dogs get very attached to soft toys because they acquire the familiar household smells and are excellent for reassurance when travelling. Packs of spare squeakers are available. When we bought some to test them on our own dogs - Cairn and Afghans - they were an amazing success; designed by a vet they have real visual appeal to dogs. I would suggest removing the 'made in' tags, because they are a temptation to chew, but apart from that they do appear to be pretty robust.
